These Terms govern your use of VisionArise, including event creation, attendance, uploads, messaging, and payments. By using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
Key Terms
Accounts & Eligibility
Keep your credentials secure. You must be 18+ to create or manage events. Misuse or fraud may result in suspension.
Content & IP
You retain rights to your photos and content. You grant VisionArise a license to host, display, and process content to operate the platform. Do not upload infringing content.
Acceptable Use
No harassment, illegal activity, scraping, automated abuse, or security probing. Respect other attendees and organizers.
Events & Organizers
Organizers must provide accurate event info, honor bookings, comply with local laws, and handle attendee data under GDPR when applicable.
Payments & Fees
- Payments are processed via Stripe; PCI data stays with Stripe.
- Fees, refunds, and payout timelines are managed by Stripe policies.
- Chargebacks or fraud may lead to account review or suspension.
Privacy & Data Protection
- Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect (PostHog analytics, WorkOS auth, Stripe payments, Google Maps) and how we use it.
- You can request access, export, or deletion of your data; we respond within 30 days.
- Organizers accessing attendee data act as controllers; we offer a Data Processing Agreement (below) when we process data on their behalf.
Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
For organizers who need us to process attendee data on their behalf, this DPA applies:
- Subject Matter: attendee management, communications, analytics.
- Duration: for the term of your organizer account or event.
- Data Types: name, email, event registration data, attendance status.
- Our obligations: process per instructions, apply security measures, assist with data subject requests, delete/return data on termination.
- Subprocessors: PostHog (analytics), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), WorkOS (auth). We maintain a current list upon request.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, fraud, or legal requirements.
